• Occasion of Issue:
This commemorative issue was created in B.E. 2530 (1987) to mark the auspicious occasion of the Fifth-Cycle Birthday Anniversary (60th Birthday) of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (King Rama IX).
• Organizing Committee:
The project was led by Mr. Sawat Chotipanich, who was serving as Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice at the time, together with the organizing committee and the people of Betong District, Yala Province.
• Purpose of Creation:
The sacred objects were issued to raise funds for the restoration, renovation, and repair of the vihara housing the revered image of Luang Pu Thuad, as well as the ubosot (ordination hall) of Wat Phutthathiwat, Betong District, Yala Province, both of which had deteriorated over time.
The project was also undertaken as an act of merit humbly dedicated to His Majesty King Rama IX on the auspicious occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary.
• Consecration Ceremony:
A major sacred metal-pouring and Buddhist consecration ceremony (Phutthaphisek) was held on 27 July B.E. 2530 (1987) at Wat Chang Hai, Pattani Province. The ceremony was attended by numerous highly revered khruba ajarns and meditation masters associated with the Luang Pu Thuad lineage, together with other accomplished masters renowned for their spiritual knowledge and sacred practices.

• 恭制目的：
此批佛教圣物的恭制，主要为筹募善款，用于修缮及重修供奉龙婆托（Luang Pu Thuad）法相的佛殿，以及修复也拉府勿洞县 Wat Phutthathiwat 佛寺的戒堂（Ubosot）。当时相关建筑因年代久远，已有不同程度的损坏与老化。
同时，此次恭制亦为积聚殊胜功德，并恭敬回向呈献予拉玛九世国王陛下，以庆祝其60岁圣寿。
• 佛法加持大典：
于佛历2530年7月27日（公元1987年7月27日），在著名的北大年府 Wat Chang Hai（昌海寺）隆重举行圣料熔铸仪式及大型佛法加持开光法会（Phutthaphisek）。
当日汇聚多位与龙婆托传承法脉关系深厚的高僧、名师及具深厚修持与法术传承的高僧大德，共同参与诵经、修法及加持，使此次法会成为该批圣物铸造过程中极为重要的一环。
